Brent brings 26+ years of sales and sales management expertise at private and public software companies.
In 1997, Brent was the 12th employee and first inside rep at Blue Pumpkin Software and later led its first inside sales organization which expanded after the acquisitions by Witness Systems (2005-2007) and Verint (2007-2011).
From 2012 to 2015, Brent led HP Software's Enterprise Security Inside Sales organization and grew the global team from 8 to 55 AEs.
From 2015 through 2021, Brent led Talend's Commercial Sales organization, growing the team from 5 to 52 AEs worldwide, and the Sales Development organization from 4 to 50+ SDRs. Talend had an IPO in 2016 and a $2.4B private equity acquisition in 2021.
In 2022 and 2023, Brent was VP of the SMB / Commercial Sales organization at Harness, Inc. and led significant growth in AE productivity.
